 Our
Studio participates in the semi annual United Studios
of Self Defense Grand Championships Martial Arts Tournament
that is held at the Bren Events Center on the UCI Campus in
Irvine, CA. (Directions).The
first tournament is usually held in early June and the second,
in early December. Only United Studios of Self
Defense students may participate.
All competitors must pre-register at their studio. First through
fourth place trophies will be awarded as well as a certificate
of participation for all contestants. Children under the age
of 13 will receive a special Fighting Spirit trophy for each
division regardless of placement. We offer Tournament Prep
classes to prepare our students for the competitiveness of
the tournaments. Hundreds of students from the area participate.
